On Friday, March 1, the Kaneland boys varsity basketball team played in the Sectional championship game at home. Kaneland lost to Crystal Lake South 69-38. This game came after the Sectional semifinal game on Wednesday, Feb. 28, where the Knights defeated Belvidere North High School 57-55. The Knights, who won back-to-back conference championships, finished their season with 26 wins, which tied last season’s program record.

Extremely tough game against Crystal Lake South, The Knights sadly fell to the Gators. The boys had an absolutely phenomenal season and I’m so incredibly proud and honored to have photographed it. I wish all the guys the best for whatever is next for them, and I can’t wait till next year. ✌️🏀 pt. 1
