Hot off the press: 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲: 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻.

It was a pleasure to work closely with photographer and dancer @matthew_willman on this deeply expressive project, translating his vision into print with particular attention to light, form and the human body.

The photographs were printed using two blacks and a grey, creating rich depth and tonal separation while bringing out subtle shifts in texture, movement and light.
The book is finished in a hardbound, square-spine paper-over-board binding, with blind stamping on the cover and spine, and a printed jacket with anti-scratch lamination. The deluxe edition is completed with a rigid paper-covered slipcase, also blind stamped.

A restrained, tactile object designed to reflect the strength and sensitivity of the images within.

I’ve been waiting patiently for the release of Matthew Willman‘s new book, Homme, and finally got my hands on one of these limited edition, Italian printed books last week! I absolutely love it!
The images are a striking celebration of everything that is male, showcasing the strength, beauty and simplicity of the male form. Matthew’s beautiful black and white images are impeccably and sensitively composed, with a masterful use of light, that gives the collection of images in this book both depth and visual resonance. I just love it!!!

Fly! Fly freely! Fly without reason! Just fly! Sometimes our thoughts and fears hold us back. There are times in life, when we need to take a deep breath and take a leap of faith and trust that God will lead the way. Dance is freedom. Don’t be afraid to let go and let God. In a world full of noise and chaos. Confusion and doubt. Sometimes, we turn to the quiet voice within. A steady heart beat. We move, exhale and suddenly the world makes sense and we remember why we chose this path… Art in motion. The majestic Rachel Abrahams, the infamous Casey Swales and the inspirational Matthew Willman. Magic in the making. #artinmotion #ballet #bethedifference #dancephotography #dancer.
