if you love me let me go back to that bar in Tokyo… well I can’t believe I’m saying this but from now on when I sing these words at a Wombats gig, I mean it from the heart 🥹❤️ it’s beyond my wildest dreams that I can actually say that I’ve been to that bar in Tokyo! It felt so surreal being there and seeing the bar with my own eyes because I feel like I’ve wondered about what it would look like for so many years from listening to the song (I even begged my bro to go to the bar when he went Japan a few years back and get photos for me so I could see) 😂 The bar was so full of character and personality and the owner of the bar, Endo, was showing me all the signatures from the different bands that have visited over the years and was showing me the Wombats signed vinyl too (obviously had to give it a play too in the bar!) in fact, everyone I met there was so kind and welcoming, and it was so nice hearing about the music they love too! Had to wear my This Modern Glitch album shirt for the occasion and bring my lil’ wombat plushie, Bear, too 🥰 what an amazing way to round off my last night in Japan

My absolute favourite gig of the year, just down the road from where it all began. We used to rehearse down at the old Scream Studios in South Croydon in the run up to Bad Blood happening, and then we get to play a show like last night with the legends @wombatsofficial, lucky boys indeed. Thanks to everyone who came and braved the heat x
