SKATE & SKOOT - MAILORS FLAT, vic

It’s seems only fitting we open our account with a review of the most mediocre of “skate parks”, I call it that with a grain of salt. The scores will be high though I fear, as the ‘Crete was smooth and there wasn’t a scooter kid or etiquette-less parent in site. And the toilet is right there. Without further ado the results:

Snack and beverage access: 0/10 - not a store for kms around.
Toilets: 7/10 - clean and new, and right at the park. Points lost for metal seats.
Scooter kid interference: 10/10 - not a scooter kid to be seen.
Shit house parents: 10/10 - no parents present
Concrete smoothness: 7/10 - bit heavy handed on the old trowel, otherwise crack free and flat as a tack.
Obstacles suitable for old man skaters: 2/10 there are only two there…. Both are shit, but they’re there.
Parking: 10/10 - right there. Close as you can get.
Fear of getting robbed or stabbed: 0/10 - nobody else outside of a car passing by was seen. Apart from a horse.
Proximity to a store that skate wife is interested in visiting: 7/10 Mailors Flat antiques and Demo is top shelf.
Dennis Denuto all round vibe points: 2/10

Total points: 55/100

Pro tip: Bonus recognition should be given to the curb in the car park next door.
