This hairy beast of a film is finally out, and I’m super stoked to have been writing music for it 🎶 you’ll also find me on synths / jaw harp / whistling / choir vocals! Any animation is a beast, and this in many many ways - Lots of awesome solo musicians involved, two orchestras, 81 cues (!!!) and lots of headaches to keep it all contained and organized! 😅
Thanks as ever @natsholt for having me on this fun journey, and for writing some great tunes 🔥🔥 also blown away by Aardman for the craftsmanship and hard work that goes into a film like this! Every frame is animated and hand made 🤯

HOARDER World Premiere at Frightfest 👻

Had the immense pleasure of making music for this film. Recorded a bass trio, cello trio, flute, violin, vocal textures and lots of AMSR found sound, with the help of some brilliant people. Soundtrack and music to come soon!

Thank you 2025! - the year I became a mother to the sweetest, sunniest, happiest baby girl and discovered that I actually love motherhood despite years of worrying about it (what a waste of time & energy that was 😅). I’m extremely grateful to have been able to take some proper time out, but there have still been a few worky highlights along the way, such as winning a Music & Sound award for my score to @lastmusicianofauschwitz, releasing its soundtrack, recording a big orchestral album at Abbey Rd 1 with @audionetwork (baby Ariella’s first session!), and contributing a new work to the beautiful @newwintersongbook. Lots of great stuff in store, bring on 2026 and Happy New Year to you all!

Today was truly the honor and opportunity of a lifetime — recording an album of my music in collaboration with the incredible @tonyduncan for @audionetwork at the legendary @abbeyroadstudios here in London 🇬🇧✨

Being able to bring my dad to a Hollywood premiere is something I’ll cherish forever. To do so for a project that is part of such a remarkable and iconic film franchise is something I could have never dreamed of.

نیکول پاون در فیلم کوتاه و تاثیرگذارش، «فراموشم نکن»، ما را به تماشای مواجهه‌ای ناب می‌نشاند: رویارویی بی‌کلام مهربانی و فراموشی. فیلم، بی‌آن‌که به سانتی‌مانتالیسم یا شعار پناه ببرد، قصه‌ای انسانی را با تصویری از اندوه شهری روایت می‌کند.در سینمای کوتاه، هر ثانیه وزنی دارد برابر با دقیقه‌ها در فیلم بلند. نیکول پاون این وزن را خوب می‌شناسد.

I don’t always spend Easter in church, but when I do, it’s been converted into a recording studio by George Martin.

I’ve had an absolute blast this week helping to record a full orchestra between @airstudioslyndhurst and @abbeyroadstudios.

What an incredible couple of days here in London! 🇬🇧 Day 1 - We finished recording strings and brass for a really exciting upcoming project I'll be releasing with the incomparable @audionetwork . I'll eventually share more details as it gets closer, but it is music I wrote inspired by the spy/heist/drama genre (one of my favorites!) and I got to collaborate again with my incredible friend and colleague @glengabriel as well. We've worked on this since 2023, so it's all very exciting to see it come together.

A big thanks to Andrew Sunnucks - I learned so much sitting next to you producing the session, and your kindness and making me feel so welcomed to the Audio Network family. A big thanks to @alijmusic for your keen ears and knowledge during the session as well. Huge thanks to @aurielp_music Auriel Pawsey (and Gemma Guy), my project manager, @matthewslater for conducting, all of the incredible musicians, and oh my goodness so many others I'm sure I'm now leaving out as I put pressure on myself to tag people.

A big thank you of course the amazing team at @abbeyroadstudios who always work seamlessly and make us feel so welcomed.

And last but not least, a big warm nod to my husband Will Thomas @runwillt who runs behind the scenes as quiet as a ninja filming everything.
