an ode to long, hot days at the beach and cool plunges into the lake. and ode to old long lasting friendships and to all new ones which got so beautifully intense in a very short time. to true people and, most importantly, loyal ones. an ode to nana. an ode to inspiring conversations and deep belly laughs. and ode to healthy parents. an ode to austrian food and all the other food. to cute cuddles with even cuter nephews. an ode to sold-out teacher trainings and the best team ever. to nourishing collaborations and full studios. an ode to work that feels meaningful and people who make it even better. an ode to doing exactly what we want, whenever we want to. an ode to feeling free, full, inspired and very much alive.

an ode to the longest and best summer I’ve had in a very long time, filled with people and places I adore! an ode to joy!

MAY, you stunner!! So much party, so much fun lol. Nick and I had so much kids-free time it felt surreal haha. From the most fun May Day to two of the best concerts, our 7th wedding anniversary, Ami’s 8th bday, dancing into the morning at Heideglühen, holiday by the sea, a boat party, celebrating friends’ wedding, great exhibitions, ending the month with a bbq at ours with wonderful people, and so much more in between. May was an absolute dreeeam!! 💃🏻

Six weeks in México that felt like days and ages at the same time.

Part II: Living and loving by the sea; remembering to always try that dish from the menu you don’t know; urgently needing to take home as many stones from the beach as you can. I think I like to wear light green.

Our seventh edition also marked one year of Reading Room. A small milestone that makes us really happy, excited for the future, and yes, a little proud. We’ve poured so much heart into building this community—seeing you choose this space to slow down, feel held, and open your pages with us means more than we can say.

Since everything began at Oona Bar at @refugeworldwide last November, coming together again in their new community space @refugeworldwide.space felt beautifully full-circle. The room offered all kinds of little corners to settle into, cosy nooks, big cushions on the floor or spots by the radio booth. Some people felt so at ease they even drifted into a nap, just listening to the sweet tunes from @itsbella. And when I noticed our DJ, and even the bar staff, quietly picking up their own books, it really summed up the feeling of the night perfectly.

Every edition has its own character, shaped by the space, the moment, and most of all by who shows up. But this one felt especially warm and communal. The room was completely filled with people and books, a whole patchwork of readers spread across the floor. And the moment when the silent hour ended was magical again: the soft first whispers, brief exchanges about freshly written lines, and then that gentle rise into chatting and laughter. The shift from just hearing turning pages, some drinks being sipped and soft music to the buzz of connection was really something.

We’re so thankful for every single one of you who joins Reading Room. For trusting the idea of sitting with strangers who somehow feel familiar afterward, or for showing up with friends and still claiming a quiet moment for yourselves.
Thank you @refugeworldwide, and especially @nooo.plastic, for believing in our vision and opening your space for us once more. Thank you @itsbella for filling the room with such tender sound. And thank you @ocean_everling and @teresakrescentia—creating this together over the last year is nothing but a bliss. Looking forward to 2026 and our next edition 📖✨
