Big thanks to everyone who had us cater their wedding this weekend! We had a full one — squeezed in some family photos, celebrated a family wedding of our own, and cooked for four other awesome couples. Congrats to all the newlyweds! ❤️🍴💍

4 music videos (and a visualizer) 👀 could not have done this without incredible crews that worked on each of these and believed in my vision ❤️

Most especially @ardengrier , the crazy talented director who made all these music videos happen and who has inspired and taught me so much this year. Eternally grateful to have been able to create this visual world with you. Thank u for being as fkn insane as me and never saying anything wasn’t possible ❤️

The irony of my coworker this morning saying to me “let me just be honest with u shanti, ur new video is creative and all, but we can really see ur wrinkles, why didn’t they fix that? Your last one you look so young and beautiful” and then after calling her tf out she said “I just want you to be successful”. This is the shot she was referring to btw.

If that was your takeaway from this video, YOU are the problem xx

Tell in me to shape up
Shape out n baby what can you do with that body
Maybe it’s the makeup
Changing every part of me to be somebody
Tryna keep your dick wet
Do you want my hands or my mouth or my body
Maybe that’s the price I pay
To be a woman that they want someday

Trust nobody
Trust nobody

Cause if I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my teeth and hide my little tummy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, nobody
If I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my tongue and find a better understudy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, nobody

Haven’t eaten in a week
I look better on a screen
Want me pretty want me weak
Make sure I’m ambitious but I’m not too hungry
Lately I’ve been feeling small
Chorus all the whispers that I hear behind me
Friends they do it worst of all
Bitch gon rise a bitch gon fall

Trust nobody
Trust nobody

Cause if I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my teeth and hide my little tummy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, nobody
If I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my tongue and find a better understudy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, nobody

Good god
You don’t deserve me
I got 20 other people comin early
Try to call you
And you swerve me
I just give n give n give you don’t deserve me
Do you love me
Or just want me
I don’t fit into your box are you above me
Do you love the
Idea of me
Lookin down on all these bitches tryna judge me

Cause if I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my teeth and hide my little tummy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, nobody
If I can’t be me then I can’t be anybody
Bite my tongue and find a better understudy
I’m a god, I’m a saint, I’m a nobody
Trust nobody, I’m nobody
