I thought everything was going well… right up until I suggested climbing Thompson and he completely lost his marbles after finding out there was no BBQ spots in the backcountry.

He threatened to toss me in the lake if I didn’t call the chopper so he could get his ice cream sooner.

A concerned stranger even took a picture of me trying to break free and run away.
And the icing on the cake? He wanted to stop at an abandoned house in the middle of the Mojave Desert on our way back.

I’m lucky to be alive.

Ladies, besides all that… he’s actually a gentleman who’s single and excited to mingle. I vouch for him. Just don’t deny him ice cream!

Saturday was an epic day! We had our monthly club breakfast, meeting, and a 70 mile dual sport ride in Big Bear. 21 guys + this girl. There was a little bit of everything. Ruts, mud, single track, and the biggest water crossing I’ve ever gone through. Didn’t fall once!

We took full advantage of the government shutdown and ran wild throughout Joshua Tree and Morongo Valley today. We had nowhere to be, zero stress, and nothing but that sense of being a kid again while we cruised around the desert and explored everything we could in the short amount of time he had…mission accomplished🤘🏻

Bats flying above right before dawn, clouds thickening and heavy slate gray rolling toward us, lightning abruptly cracks and the angry clouds attack! Rain hammering down and plastering my hair! Then….It felt magical. A rainbow standing bold and radiant above glistening everything.
