🫧We had a blast welcoming friends into our New York studio last week to play games, send postcards, and blow bubbles. Thanks everyone who came and donated for keeping us cool!

We are heartbroken over the loss of our dear collaborator and beloved friend, Adriana Garbagnati. As the program coordinator at La MaMa Umbria, Adriana was at the center of fostering so much creativity, cultural exchange, and pure fun. She welcomed us with open arms any time we were in Spoleto and was ready to meet new people, projects, and ideas. She will be so dearly missed. We mourn with her family and all who loved her.

Like so many, we are mourning the passing of Agosto Machado, a downtown legend, total sweetheart, and one of our dearest collaborators. We first worked with Agosto in 2017 as we started to look at plays from the La MaMa Archive in a new light. He kept on this path of exploration with us through the years and most recently contributed artwork to our benefit auction this past spring.

Agosto grounded everything he did in life with a spirit of care and selflessness. His artistry has, thankfully, left an indelible mark on CultureHub. We will miss you, Agosto, so dearly.
