Reindeer Lake, pt. 1!

I finally caught up on sleep, but I’d trade it in a heartbeat to be back at @troutcampatreindeerlake again.

L A T E L Y

I’m not sure where the last couple months have gone.

I’ve spent more nights on the road than in my own bed lately. Tires humming through dust and pine, living out of duffels and in-between moments. Chasing fish and deadlines, oftentimes both at once.

It’s been an absolute blast, from seeing @kyliemohr & @hillllllyeah getting hitched, to showing the super kind and talented folks at @looptackle my corner of Montana, to spending a couple days in Idaho with my mom, and having one night to pack and driving 18 hours straight north to Canada. And bouncing between states in between.

I’ve also had just enough time in the rearview to remember what matters—and learned it sure ain’t waiting around.

Turns out, ease is underrated. So is joy.

And that’s what I’m after now—long days and longer floats. Good company, early mornings. Fish that hit like they mean it.

Windows down with the music turned up on backroads. Wildflowers and glaciers. Chasing berries after work in the alpine glow.

Plans made five mins before they happen, and days that end with a mess of gear and a damn good story.

The raft’s rigged and calendar’s open. Time to get after it 🤙

that one time I got a lucky shot on the side of a 3,000ft+ fjord in Norway and a bunch of crazies (my husband included) base jumping. started my entire photography business the same day and submitted this and got CENTERFOLD in a skydiving magazine 😋❤️
