Reflecting on the weekend, it was a wholesome trip visiting New York for the Hamptons Invitational, a.k.a. The Gust.

This event is so much more than a Pro-Am. Not only does it provide support for East End charities, it creates new relationships that continue to give outside of just golf and charity.

This event brought Renée to the Hamptons for the first time 10 years ago. Little did we know it would lead to a job offer that would significantly alter our lives. Now, nine years later, we’re saying goodbye to the Hamptons, and it felt very fitting to be closing out our time here with the 2026 version of The Gust.

We missed Rick, the “Big Pro”, a lot this weekend, but his presence was felt everywhere. The small touch points of the event are ideas only Rick could have had the foresight to plan for, and only Corey would continue to see as opportunities to make Atlantic and The Gust shine. From the elegant welcome party, to the bonus pool of “Eagles for East End Charities,” the curated gifts, and the unique Gust-branded flags, every detail makes the event special.

The stories that are shared are living testimony to why these types of events are started in the first place. Some stories take on an imagination of their own over the years, but the laughter and camaraderie make the new renditions worth telling every year.

Thank you to DT, Maidstone, 8AM Golf, Corey, and the Atlantic team for keeping this amazing tradition alive and including us in the event.

Until next time. 🍻
