Hello I’m a director and here’s a photo of me looking like a director 🤓 Shot by @junethomasphoto 📸

I am doing my annual director’s photo dump a bit early because I’m taking a little break until the new year. I have had such an incredible year of work and projects - my heart is FULL but the creative cup needs a TOP UP😌🍵🤲🏻

So have a scroll to see what I’ve done this year and professional peace out until January! 🤪

🏳️‍🌈 The Well of Loneliness

I spent most of the year adapting Radclyffe Hall’s pioneering Queer classic for the stage.

I developed the show in various R&Ds with some amazing Queer theatre makers, supported by @omnibustheatre, @queeryouthartcollective, @theoldnunshead & @underbellyboulevard.

Then we had our first work-in-progress shows @chapelbarntuell, @exeterphoenix & @the2brewers 💥

(And couldn’t have done it without my partner in crime @oliviergastinel_

🏡 Chapel Barn Theatre Festival

Producer?! I organised my first ever theatre festival @chapelbarntuell, bringing 4 professional shows to rural communities in West Devon 🤗

👒 A City Girl

I worked on another adaptation - Margaret Harkness’ forgotten feminist, socialist, Victorian novel. I developed it with a very talented group of drama school students @italia.conti, before transferring to @omnibustheatre 😇

🫦📱 Untitled Sex Health Show & Virtual Vertical Diaries

I ran the @nsdfest Lab Company with @whitenoiseth & @mariatelnikoff21 - we had an R&D of Untitled Sex Health Show and facilitated a very special edition of Virtual Vertical Diaries, culminating in a big sharing @curve_leicester 🕺🏼

🐻 Bear

I worked on two R&Ds of @luce_chambs’ new gig-theatre show, supported by @underbellyboulevard & @watfordpalacetheatre.

The latter was particularly amazing as I got to work with 4 insanely talented actor-musicians to create the soundtrack for the show 🎤

🛌🚘 Wakey Wakey! & Luna Loves London

I continued my work with @discover_story, reviving my lovely little 0-3 show to open their new pop-up space and co-creating their immersive story exhibition with Vickie @thelisteninnstorytelling & @annalena_inthewood 👯‍♀️

🧛🏻‍♂️ Champagne

Last week I had the most gorgeous time reviving
