Athlete shoutout‼️

This is Matt Cooper a former local aussie rules footballer, who has been bitten by the punting bug! Matt trains with Gridiron Company @gridcoau practicing 3-4 times a week, advice through this persuaded Matt to come to me a few weeks ago to help prepare him for the unknown rigors of American S&C in a junior college program. I applauded him for this as it shows motivation and want to improve and take his sport and training seriously 💪

We went through a range of exercises sent to him from the States to help make sure he had a solid foundation in them to improve once over there. This has been a super enjoyable experience for me getting to work one on one directly with an athlete for the first time in this sport, as well as get some very interesting insight into American Football strength and conditioning.

Best of all great bloke and easy to work with! I wish Matty all the best over at Butler Grizzlies, see you in the off-season!

Go Grizz! 🐻🏈 @mattycoops14
