The Panther Opener

Congratulations to Maureen Cheruiyot on an incredible victory at the Paul Short Run, taking down an outstanding field in a lifetime-best 19:47.7!

Maureen showed tremendous strength and composure to hold on for the win and add another major victory to an already impressive season. She now has two wins and a second place finish in three races in 2026.

After finishing 24th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional last fall, this Panther has made it clear that she has much bigger plans for this fall.

The season is just getting started. Keep an eye on Maureen!
