little bit of healing, little bit of finding my joy again. this year was so hard but also the restart I didn’t know I needed. internet friends became real life friends. babies came into the picture. I did a lot of things that scared me with a lot of people who opened me right up despite my best efforts to stay guarded. here’s to being softer in 2026, to letting love feel easy, to continuing to chase a dream in my own way.

@chifilmfest is always my favorite time of the year but this year felt extra special. it’s been a major dream of mine to get press accreditation and I finally did it. I worked very hard to get to this point and I got to do it with some amazing people pictured and not pictured. heard a lot of brilliant artists talk about their work and wrote some reviews I’m very proud of. I feel like I pushed myself as a critic during this festival more than ever. I love the movies, I love talking about them, I love the experience of the movie theater. until next year 🤍
