nothing but love for these photographers man

photography allows us to crystallize some of the most important moments in hiphop. all of these photographers have their own style and have given us some of the coolest digital moments to look back on

for me, it’s always really cool to see how different creatives utilize different framing techniques, color grading, and more as they build out their unique styles

in photography, you’re essentially given a world of opportunity with the people you capture, the settings in which you capture them, etc. it all culminates into something really cool

i wanted to get a list of photographers that are a bit more established and some that may be more up and coming that i’ve enjoyed, while also keeping a variety of names that have captured moments from alllll the way back in the day to a near decade+ ago to ones that have captured more recent figures in the underground such as osamason, molly santana, fakemink, etc.

whether it’s gunner stahl and all of the really iconic photos he’s taken over time for artists like kendrick lamar, xxxtentacion, playboi carti, lil uzi vert, and more, or john cotter’s recent work for nba youngboy, or gekayy and the work he’s done for nettspend, che, and more, or whoever else, we had to show love

let us know who you guys think the most iconic photographer(s) in hiphop media are and if we missed anyone <3 love y’all
