I gave my husband the job of making a spider for Halloween… and as you can see, he went above and beyond!

Made mostly from things we already had at home and finished off with expanding foam, this giant redback turned out an absolute treat! How clever is my husband?!

We honestly didn’t think it would end up this big, but it’s certainly become a feature of the house!

We live in a really quiet street, so it’s a shame more people won’t get to see it, but the kids in the street are absolutely loving it.

Needless to say, my Halloween obsession is only going to grow from here… I think my husband has created a monster!

Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing man I know.

You chose Ollie, and in doing so, you gave him something so incredibly special. Your love, your time, your patience and your guidance.

Watching the relationship you two have built is honestly one of the most beautiful things. The way you love him, care for him, teach him, encourage him, make him laugh and show up for him every single day.

You’re teaching him so much about life, but I think the most important thing you’re teaching him is what love, kindness and being there for someone really looks like.

Ollie is so lucky to have you, and I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed and that you chose us.

Fatherhood isn’t always about biology. Sometimes it’s about the choice to love, to show up and to be there and you’ve done that in the most beautiful way.

There’s something so special about this. Damien and Ollie decided to make a tree swing together

No screens, no noise. Just figuring it out, getting their hands dirty and a whole lot of laughs along the way. It honestly feels like a little throwback to the 90s, when outside was all you needed.

And how beautiful is their relationship. I love watching Damien not just play with Ollie, but actually teach him things. how to build, how to try, how to keep going.

I saw Book of Mormon again last week and I’m still thinking about it!

This was actually my third time seeing it (because it’s that good) and it was Damien’s first time… and watching him experience it for the first time made it even better.

Even though I knew what was coming, I still laughed until I cried. It’s honestly one of the funniest, cleverest, most outrageous shows and somehow it still has so much heart underneath all the chaos.

The cast was unreal, the singing was insane, the timing was perfect, and every scene just kept getting better. It’s one of those shows where you’re constantly thinking, how are they getting away with this?!

If you’ve been thinking about seeing it, take this as your sign. 10/10. Would go again. (Clearly)

Happy 2 year wedding anniversary to my favourite person

I honestly don’t even know how I got so lucky, but I’m so grateful I did.

You’ve changed my life in the best way. All the little everyday moments that somehow mean the most. You’ve brought so much calm, happiness, laughter and safety into my world, and I didn’t realise how much I needed that until you came along.

Watching the bond you have with Ollie has been one of the most beautiful parts of this whole journey. The way you love him, show up for him, make him laugh, teach him things, and just adore him. It melts me every single day. I’ll never stop being grateful that you chose us, and that we get to do life as a team.

Two years down and I still get that feeling when I look at you… like “yep, this is my person.”

A little mini break with my favourite people, no big plans, no rushing around. Just slow mornings, chats, laughs, fishing and being together. Exactly the reset we all needed.

This was honestly the best resort for kids. Outrigger Fiji was pure family magic

Ollie had the BEST time, from splashing in the pool, racing crabs and snails, making new friends at kids club, and snorkeling in the clearest water. Ice cream breaks were basically a daily ritual.

For us, it was bliss. Cocktails by the pool, the friendliest staff who treated him like their own, and that relaxed Fijian pace that makes you never want to leave.

This is truely the perfect mix of fun for the kids and downtime for parents. Fiji happiness all round!

When Damien chose me, he chose Ollie too.

He didn’t just step into the role of husband, he stepped into the role of father with a heart wide open. No hesitation, no halfway. He protects, comforts, shows up day and night and loves Ollie as his own.

Ollie’s face said it all! The Sigatoka River Safari was so much fun from start to finish.
From cruising along the river to learning about Fijian culture and village life, every moment felt so special. But the highlight was definetely those epic 360 spins on the jet boat. The squeals, the laughter, the wide-eyed surprise… absolutely priceless!
