Why did I choose AfroTech as my first-ever tech conference? Because I wanted to see what tech looks like when it’s rooted in community. AfroTech showed me that representation isn’t just powerful, it’s necessary. I am still on a high from this fashion show. My first REAL fashion show. Like I cannot believe it! Everything happened sooo fast! I just want to say thank you! To everyone whose encouraged me, inspired me, supported me, wouldn’t let me give up. Like its crazy to even think that this is just the first of many! Thank you @aminabrooks & @trapxart for giving me this opportunity and for believing in my vision and helping bring it to life. Thank you to all of my models that stayed committed and positive through this experience. Thank you to @margaritanovoa_ & @angelllllt for holding down my table while I was running around with my head cut off 🤣🤣 and the amazing photos. Thank you @stinagottachoppa for always coming thru and always supporting me all the time 🥺🥺. Thank you @hell_speth for continuing to inspire me everyday ( I miss you so much 🥺) thank you to everyone who bought items right off of the models! Like I literally cried so much this day, out of joy and happiness. Thank you for the photographers @avividlife & @bryson.snapped for taking dope pictures! @its_1996 thank you for capturing this amazing video footage & always supporting me at every event 💕. @ultraaa.lorddd babygirl Lex!! None of this would have been possible without you, seriously 🥺. I truly wonder how I got so blessed to have this amazing collective of supportive friends and tribe.
