Creating a product is only half the work. To get people to use it, you need to tell a compelling story—one that highlights the problem it solves and connects deeply with the audience. That’s exactly what I did for Kajota UK. 🇬🇧 Kajota is a dynamic marketplace built to revolutionize the way people buy and sell. It allows users to effortlessly sell, co-sell, and purchase everything from daily essentials to specialized products. When the co-founder reached out, he needed a promotional video to help spread the word. Tight timeline, clear objectives: ‱ Tell a story the audience can relate to ‱ Position Kajota as the ideal solution ‱ Inspire viewers to join the waitlist After our consultation call, I got straight to work—conducting research, building moodboards, and designing styleframes in Figma. I knew the first few seconds had to grab attention, so I started with a story showing the real struggles business owners face when trying to sell online on their own. I brought these moments to life using live-action footage, creative masking, and smooth transitions to make the visuals feel authentic and engaging. Then came the solution: Kajota. I modeled a custom 3D phone using Element 3D and designed sleek UI animations to showcase the product’s ease of use—highlighting key features like product listings and co-selling tools. Every frame was intentional, each transition pushing the narrative forward. The entire visual flow was built to communicate one clear truth: Kajota is the smarter way to sell. What made this project even smoother was collaborating with Kajota’s product design team. We aligned on every detail—from copy tone to UI animation—ensuring the final piece didn’t just look good, but performed well. I had the pleasure of creating an explainer video for @plivrabrands , a forward-thinking digital marketing agency. The goal of this project was to tell a clear and relatable story for business owners and entrepreneurs who struggle to manage their brand, maintain consistency, or achieve results from their online efforts, while introducing Plivra as the solution and clearly communicating the value it offers. To start, I wanted the opening scene to connect with the audience immediately. I used real human footage because when viewers see people like them expressing frustration through facial expressions and gestures, it creates an emotional connection. They think, “This is me. This is exactly what I’m going through.” This approach ensures viewers relate to the story, understand the message, and stay engaged until the end. Once the problem was clear, I introduced Plivra as the solution. I showcased some of their design work to highlight the quality they deliver. I also used animations, like fast rocket movements to represent the speed of their services, and a moving laptop screen to showcase their website and the full list of services they offer. Every element and animation was carefully created to work together, clearly communicating what Plivra does and making it easy for the audience to understand. Working with the Plivra team was an amazing experience. They were clear about their goals, open to ideas, and made the entire process smooth and collaborative. 3 things I wish I knew when I started designing. When I started designing, I thought I had to figure everything out on my own. Looking back now, I realize there were things that would have saved me time, stress, and a lot of self-doubt. First - getting a mentor. I didn’t know how important this was. A mentor doesn’t have to be someone big or famous—just someone ahead of you who can guide you, correct you, and show you what to avoid. Trying to learn everything alone slows you down. Second - showing up even when you’re not an expert. I used to wait until I felt “ready.” But the truth is, you grow by showing up; by posting your work, asking questions, and learning in public. You don’t need to be perfect to start. You just need to start. Third - being consistent with building my portfolio. I underestimated this. Your portfolio tells your story more than your words ever will. Even small projects matter. Every design counts. Consistency compounds. If you’re just starting out in design, don’t make the same mistakes I did. Learn early. Show up. Stay consistent.
