Max got to ride his Marlboro Rotax at the old Roberts Ranch last weekend, on track just him & Randy Mamola on matching bikes that were build for that track 30 yrs ago. It reminded me of when I rode a Marlboro Ducati at Valencia the day after Casey Stoner won the MotoGP title on it.
Final photo for cuteness & also because it’s the same bike I still race now.
If anyone’s bothered, the blue gloves I’m wearing on the Ducati were John Hopkins’ because I’d forgotten mine. I’ve still got them somewhere.

30 AÑOS DESPUÉS!
Ayer Sábado se celebró en @roccosranch (antiguo KENNY ROBERTS TRAINING RANCH) un eventazo donde pudimos disfrutar de una larga jornada de motos dedicada al trial, Motocross y Dirt Track / Flat Track.
También hubo música country buena comida en el restaurante y discoteca para su finalización.
La estrella principal fue Randy Mamola, piloto del mundial de 500cc en los 80-90 y Flat Track americano en sus inicios.
Randy disputó en 1996 la carrera creada por “El Marciano” Kenny Roberts Sr y bajo la esponsorización de Phillip Morris por lo que a buen seguro volver a sentir ese momentazo delante de tanto público fue un subidón de adrenalina importante.
Os compartimos este pedazo de video el cual esperamos que sea de vuestro disfrute.
Un servidor, a sus 16 añitos también estuvo hace 30 años en esta carrera y la verdad es que se me pusieron los pelos de punta el volver a ver unas cuantas motos pintadas por mi padre.
Gracias Ferrán i Ricard Cardús y todo el staff de Rocco’s Ranch por invitarnos.

Little recovery update… 🫶
A couple of weeks ago I started using red light therapy on my brain, huge thanks to @derekbrindley25 . I found it was really helping and I was feeling more energised, so I felt ready to start pushing myself a little more.
I went out for lunch a couple of times, and decided this weekend I’d go to @flyupmtb with @max.inman . Obviously not to ride, but just to be there and feel part of the bike scene again (minus the moto noise🤕).
The motion of being in a vehicle whilst travelling is something I’ve really struggled with the last 3 months. The journey topped with a little socialising left me feeling pretty dizzy & drunk! I’ve felt pretty run down for the past couple days as a result. I’ve perked up again today, but I’ll stick to baking from the comfort of my own home and spending time outdoors without the wheels for a while longer🧁🌿.
Who can spot the plane in the last pic?👀 That’s what I do now✌️😂.

This weekend marked 3 months since the incident that caused my 2nd concussion this year; leading to being diagnosed with post concussion syndrome. As I won’t be on 2 wheels for a while here’s some of my favourite moments this year, without bikes.
The 1st picture is of me & Wendy a couple weeks ago after filming content for @angelsofdirt_movie . I’m so excited & grateful to be involved as a Next Chapter Racer whilst I navigate this journey back to full health❤️‍🩹!
