🌵🧚🏽‍♂️🏔️🪲

The year I was a student in Senior Field Studies, the Sonoran desert had such heavy downpours that we lived in our rain gear and camped at the trailhead since all the rivers were flooded. Even though we didn’t get to backpack, I vividly remember having the feeling that one day I would return to this magical place to complete to loop.

This year, my third time in the desert with the program, I hiked the 30+ mile trail as a patrol leader with the BEST group of humans! 💫 Here are some of my favorite photos from these desert days.

Full heart!! Thank you @seniorfieldstudies @fieldstudies.co
