The Windy City welcomed back a few of our E-Board members from sunny Scottsdale, AZ, after attending the PRSSA Leadership Assembly last week! 🌵✈️☀️

Our time in Arizona allowed us to network with like-minded young professionals and PRSSA Chapters from all over the country, sparking fresh and innovative strategies to elevate our chapters and take the industry by storm. DePaul PRSSA is excited to apply everything we have learned to enhance the development of both our members and our leaders. Some key takeaways:

• Compete with the competition in the industry, not your colleagues.
• One thing is certain, and that is change.
• Love what you do — or leave...
• Never stop learning, and remain curious!

Thank you to @PRSSANational for providing us with this amazing opportunity, allowing us to gain new insights and perspectives, and helping us grow both personally and professionally! We sincerely appreciate all that you do. Big shout out to the many speakers and panelists, too!

This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend @prssanational’s Leadership Assembly in Scottsdale and represent my Chapter @asuprssa!

I met so many great leaders within various chapters all over the world, heard from outstanding keynote speakers and had the opportunity to network amongst my peers and national PR professionals!

As the incoming Chapter president for the next year, I am beyond grateful for this experience! I gained so much awareness on what it takes to be a leader, how best to lead my Chapter through any hardships or challenges we may face, and gained so much insight on the industry and best practices!

I look forward to sharing all of my newfound ideas and valuable insights I’ve learned with my Chapter 🫶

Wish I had more photos from the underground dance party where there was loud EDM music, a light show and a cyber punk theme.

With that being said 2022 was a great year, I learned a lot and became my own person. Made memories I’ll remember for the rest of my life, going into 2023 a stronger minded and willed man ✌🏻

Did you know I’m a double major? 🖊

I recently represented Rowan University as our Chapter’s President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at ICON 22, the organization’s international conference in Grapevine, Texas. 🤠 With over 500 attendees I made great connections networking with professional communicators and students within the PR industry. I attended so many sessions highlighting the impact of strategic communications and feel really excited for my move into the field as a PR practitioner come May. 🎓

My leadership being recognized by the national society as well as honoring our top members as the only student speaker/presenter at the award’s ceremony was pretty sweet, I might add. ☺️

Check out my Texas dump! 📸 ✈️
