I used to hate slabs because I just couldn’t do them properly.

Then I met @tomasogreksak and he taught me how to actually stand on my feet and balance on pretty much anything.

For a long time I was thinking all those squats on the balance board and Swiss ball didn’t really help that much… but on this boulder I finally felt like they actually had a point.

What an insane session with such a good crew. I really didn’t expect this boulder to have such a sick atmosphere. Everyone was trying, cheering, shouting and pushing each other.

🚗 Santa Rosa → San Francisco → Santa Cruz → Salinas Valley → Morro Bay → San Luis obispo → Lizards Mouth → Santa Barbara → Joshua tree 🌵

Finally got to live the west coast road trip vibes en route Joshua Tree. First time in the US... I knew there were some pretty spots here but holy moleeey, I was in awe every single day. Forever changing landscapes; thriving wildlife (we saw wild deer, dolphins, seals, beavers, rabbits, chipmunks, lizards, land squirrels); some of the prettiest sunrises and stary nights catching meteor showers ☄️. Then Joshua Tree was a total playground ✨What.a.joy.

I love these shapes because they're so adaptable. We can build them as small wave midlengths. All rounders with 4+1 fin sets and a little more rocker. Thinner, more rocker, and a slightly sharper edge gives us a really solid good wave option for those seeking new lines.

First route coming out of the cave done ✅
I was not expecting it to be so exiting due to it beeing a traverse though the cave but it proved me wrong😁
A good belayer is required on this one, especially when you come out of the cave.
