we enjoyed the cool video work ‘drib’ from 2004 by tony oursler, recently exhibited in the show ‘die zeit hat kein zentrum’ / ‘time has no center’ at crespo foundation. the show presented more than 100 works from the private collection of ulrike crespo. it was curated by mario kramer and assisted by leonid chima emeka. #videoart #videosculpture #ulrikecrespo

AT INTER(E)SPACE @inter_e_space , ARTIST-ARCHITECT MAX BOSTRÖM @max_bostroem CREATED A INSTALLATION CONCEIVED FROM FIVE YEARS OF COLLECTED DIOR @dior MAGAZINES GIVEN BY FERNANDO LOPES @nandosstyle TRANSFORMING IT INTO A FLOWING, SCULPTURAL FLOWER OF IMAGE AND EMOTION.

THIS PIECE CHALLENGES THE STILLNESS OF PRINTED MATTER, AWAKENING IT WITH VISUAL ENERGY AND NARRATIVE RHYTHM. LAYERED WITH CULTURAL FRAGMENTS, FASHION, POLITICS, AND IDENTITY, THE WORK PULSES WITH BOTH PAST AND REINVENTION.

EACH CURVE TELLS A STORY. FROM BEAUTY TO MATERIALITY, FROM CONSUMPTION TO MEMORY.
MAX’S WORK REMINDS US THAT EVEN THE DISPOSABLE CAN RECLAIM ITS SOUL.
