"Welcome to the jungle."

Max Degrand, speaking before his set — and not about music.

"I am very happy to be here, to contribute with my music to this movement. I have known Raul for more than five years, and for me this is raising a movement, a community. In my values, and in what I do with the music, that is what matters the most. The most important thing for the future is to be together, to grow a community, and be positive together."

That is a DJ describing his job as community building. It is not the usual answer, and it is a good part of why he was on the Friday bill at 01:00.

The set did the rest.

@max_degrand - Monaberry / Café de Anatolia. Thank you for the night.

Dance Floor announcement. Meet Max Degrand.

Some DJs play tracks. Max speaks house — as a language rather than a single style, moving from raw, driving grooves to deep melodic and atmospheric textures, always with the floor in mind.

A producer and DJ with a global presence, he lands in the Jungle to do what he does best: read the room, build the wave, and take a floor full of strangers somewhere together. On a night that runs until 4am, that language gets a long conversation.

DJ: Max Degrand (@max_degrand)
Where: Dance Floor

25 & 26 September 2026, Tigullio, St. Julian's, Malta

“Dark Matter”

A rigorous study in sonic equilibrium.
The production is characterized by a sleek, spatial quality, employing minimalist textures and a constant bassline that suggests a hidden gravitational weight.
Aligned with his philosophy of using the dancefloor as a space for healing and deep connection, Degrand avoids aggressive maximalism in favor of carefully layered, pulsing elements.
