What a journey. When I decided to go out for cross country and track in 7th grade I had no idea it would turn out to be the best decision of my life. This sport has given me so much, It’s made me who I am, It’s shaped my life in the best possible way. It’s allowed me to meet so many wonderful people who have become life long friends, and given me so many incredible moments that have turned into unforgettable memories. The life I used to dream of living became my everyday reality, and for that I am filled with so much gratitude. The experience I had as a college athlete was truly priceless, it’s something money could never buy and couldn’t be found anywhere else.

None of what I accomplished was done alone. I am so lucky to have had such amazing coaches, mentors, teammates, friends, and of course my family help me every step of the way. Being a college athlete isn’t always easy, but surrounding myself with the right people helped me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

To Cumberlands; thank you for the best 3 years of my life. I’m so grateful to have been able to be apart of something much bigger than myself, and to finish my career having been apart of 3 national championship winning teams has been a dream come true. Through the highs and lows, I’ve learned what it truly means to be a part of a team that’s not just a team, but a family. I’ll always feel so lucky to have experienced that.

The trophies and medals will collect dust, and my PRs will probably seem insignificant soon enough. But the people I’ve met, the moments we’ve shared, and all the memories I made will stay with me for the rest of my life. 🤟 🦈

outdoor nationals🥉🥇

individual bronze & team title
… and just like that, my freshman year is over. what a year to remember!!

ending my first season with two bronze medals and a team title is something i’ll carry with me forever. this outdoor season didn’t go the way i imagined at all. dealing with health issues and trying to stay healthy throughout the season definitely made things difficult at times. but in the end, i found a way to lock back in, trust the process, and show up when it mattered the most.

proud that i could help the team, but even more proud that i proved to myself i can keep going even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
so many memories made, so many people who became family along the way. (@colebennett_____ i am gonna miss you so much, grandpa 🥺) forever grateful for this journey.

now it’s time for some well deserved rest back home!!

NAIA All-American in the 1500, National Champion with the team. My best race ever, this day is one to remember.

Made it to my 3rd national championships, qualified for the final, got 4th in the NAIA - by having only the 27th fastest time this year.

From running a 4:34 mile in February, to getting lapped at indoor nationals (5K) in March, to beating 3:43/46/47 1500m guys in May.
Never lost the believe in myself, and now I got rewarded 🏅

After messed up XC & indoor nationals, we now won the title with the team. This year couldn‘t have ended any better,
THANKYOU CUMBERLANDS 🤟🏼
