From left to right:

Villalobos, our resident fox in the box, opened the scoring early in the first half of our opening preseason match. His clinical finishing throughout the preseason campaign earned him the title of Armed Forces Yuma FC's preseason leading goal scorer.

Next is Gordillo, the embodiment of our team's ethos on and off the ball. His goal sealed a 2–0 victory over Shinpaku in our opening preseason fixture and showcased the relentless work rate he brings every time he steps onto the pitch.

Next is Rosales, who was called upon specifically for the penalty shootout in the final against Atlético Arzola FC. He rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion, saving two penalties and leading Armed Forces Yuma FC to a commanding 4–1 victory in the shootout.

On the far right is Figueroa, who delivered the defining moment of the final against Atlético Arzola FC. With the team trailing, he unleashed an absolute screamer from distance to equalize the match and force a penalty shootout. It was a strike the goalkeeper had absolutely no chance of stopping, setting the stage for Rosales' penalty shootout heroics and securing our preseason tournament victory.

The match got off to a perfect start when Cuyech opened the scoring in the 10th minute, giving Armed Forces Yuma an early 1–0 lead. Just seven minutes later, Hernandez doubled the advantage with a well-taken finish in the 17th minute.

Border Patrol responded before halftime, cutting the deficit with goals in the 26th and 35th minutes to level the match at 2–2.

With the game in the balance, Barnes-White found the decisive goal in the 59th minute, restoring the lead and securing a 3–2 victory for Armed Forces Yuma FC.

YFL 8! Wasn’t the ending we hoped for or expected, but we still got the results we wanted. I got a lot of respect for my opponent CJ and would also like wish to him a fast recovery. Team GRIT will continue to move forward and upward from here. Thank you @yumafightleague @kgastelum for these events and allowing Yuma to showcase our talents. Thank you to all my family and friends that came out to support.👊🏽
