Great Job Team!
Yesterday's WTF: Edinburgh event went fantastically well. We had a great turnout of activists this time which helped make it the most successful event we've had over the past couple of months. Thank you to our relentless ushers, enticing people to watch the video, and to everyone who did outreach. Whether you took on the more difficult conversations, or spoke to the people who were ready to go vegan right away, and convinced them to take that step, we are all a vital part of this team making change for animals. Special thanks to Cameron, who was attending WTF for the first time and got stuck in with outreach right away. And congratulations to Justina, who had a record success, with 9/9 people she spoke to declaring to go vegan! Let's keep growing the pile of pictures of new vegans holding our sign! Next event will be in 2 weeks time, on Sunday the 18th of October. RSVP at the link in bio

Yesterday we had a record night with 12 people joining us for a weekday event. Thank to those who made effort to come directly from work/study, travel from out of Edinburgh and dedicate their time to the animals!

Even with 12 people, there were periods where everyone was occupied - either recording or in conversations. Amazing job to the strong team this Wednesday, standing up for justice.

Shoutout to Mayur as well who unfortunately didn’t make the group picture.

HUMANE SLAUGHTER IS A LIE, ANIMALS DO NOT WANT TO DIE. #TurnOffTheGas 🐷

It’s 2026. If you still continue to exploit other animals, what the hell are you doing? LIVE VEGAN. Shut these oppressors down. PIGS’ LIVES BELONG TO THEM, NOT US. 🐖

A few moments from Wednesday’s Cube. We had several people decide to go vegan after speaking with our activists, and one person even chose to stay, hold a screen and get involved straight away.

Always good to capture moments where conversations turn into action.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made it happen.

9 of us came to AV Edinburgh last Wednesday where we fought against this injustice, travelling from all over Scotland despite the terrible rain.

A big shoutout to Ben who had lots of conversations and even dealt with those who were quite unreceptive during his first event. Huge respect to coming as the first step is generally the hardest.

Charlotte got three handshakes 🎉 and we had many meaningful conversations. Bart spoke to someone who began to try during the conversation, committed to veganism then joined us in the Cube! Our message is strong and powerful ✊🖤

For our first event of Edinburgh Fringe, 10 of us stood in the streets for the victims. Many members of the public were receptive and we had an incredible amount of commitments. Shout out to Mayur Bhojane who got four 4 people to change! Some members of the public even joined us to hold the screens, keeping us free to have impactful conversations.

We’ll have more events this coming month, where it’s the busy of the year!

Thanks to our team for being one of the few percentage of the population fighting against this huge injustice.

Last Saturday, we had one of the best events of the year so far. First of all, thanks for Alex Small and Cameron for holding for the fort for the intense first hour where we had an endless amount of interest from the public.

We had a wide range of conversations, from those who saw the footage and quickly wanted to change to longer talks where people had to be challenged on their beliefs to grow. Many of the spoke we spoke to cried, not only because of the footage but the moving words of the activists!

Amazing work from our dedicated team on Wednesday the 15th of July!

Welcome Anna who attended who first event. Thanks to Paolo and Anette for coming, even though you missed fmt group photo.

We had an extremely busy event with many not only declaring veganism but also deciding to stand in the Cube, leaving the Cube fully occupied by the public at times.

Thank you to everybody who came along to our 3-minute-movie-challenge last Sunday! It was another fantastic busy Summer event.

Thanks @bart__av for taking these photos!

Next up is connection day and solidarity day, on the 1st and 2nd of August. This is our biggest event of the year, in collaboration with the Glasgow chapter, and a great time to start getting involved for the first time. Find out more at the link in bio!

A rainy event, a TV broken, and disruption in a nearby Starbucks. Last Wednesday was a busy evening, with many groups hearing about the speciesist injustice. Thanks to the dedicated activists who preserved without complaints!
