💙FLASHBACK FRIDAY💙 Sailors, seamen and pirates in between; this #flashbackfriday let’s look back at the voyage we took to get TITANI-ACS!- The Unsinkable Drag Parody to @melbfringe ! It was a journey of TITANIC proportions that only could be run by trans, neurodivergent and disabled queers that have a knack for storytelling! Our crossing wouldn’t have been possible by a lot of people behind the scenes that not only generously donated their energy, time and money. But also believed in the show and our vision! We feel like kings of the world that we had gotten to do this and hopefully many more times in the future! To those that caught our voyage live, do not forget to leave a compliment on the Melbourne Fringe website in our crowd pleaser comments! We would love to know how you found the TITANI-ACS! journey! 💙 #titanic #parody #flashbackfriday #drag

💙THANK YOU💙 And just like that, our maiden voyage into @melbfringe comes to a close! 🥹 From a little bar stint in 2024, to being an hour long fringe show, with dazzling costume pieces, elaborate sets, funny gags and a display of queer and trans icons, it truly has been a wild ride! There was rough seas out there, but we weathered the storm and managed to sail on to our destination with a little extra camp and so much more gay! 😜 On behalf of the TITANI-ACS! Cast and crew, we want to extend a thank you and appreciation to those that have come out to support us, the audiences each night were magical, some were family members, close friends, partners and work colleagues! Thank you to @prideofourfootscray for being our host venue this Melbourne Fringe! Thank you to those that donated their time and their efforts into making this Parody Of Dreams truly unsinkable! Big thank you to @monicalimmusic and Konfir Kabo who were our generous donors to have our show OFFICIALLY Fringe Funded, thank you to @misskiki01 for hosting the Making It Count Fundraiser to get this show off the ground and into the sea, thank you to those that donated prizes for the fundraiser, @tashyorkinit , @mslazysusan @zeldamoon @maxectomy @littlelinhuendo @roxyrawhide . A big heart of the ocean thank you to @ghanem.irba for some iconic promo photos, @kevinbernardinphotography who was our closing night photographer, @erissbloom who helped record and mix our group number, @meapsaustralia who collaborated with us in making the elaborate ship bow set piece and @sezisadarling for assisting with the making of the door set piece. This show was a labour of love, a passion project lead by people who not only had a passion (and hyperfixation) for such an iconic film, but a passion for the camp, funny, weird, queer and beautiful all wrapped up nicely! Back in 2024 we knew this was somethings special and now we all disembarked feeling joyous, (tired af) and excited for where TITANI-ACS! Sails to next! Be on the lookout for Old/Young Rose, Jack, Cal, Mother Ruth and that c*nty Iceberg, they are out there, somewhere! 😉 See you at the closing night of Melbourne Fringe!

💙NIGHT TWO OF TITANI-ACS!💙 Well well welll, night one you sailed with us on opening night, which led to a wild night of camp, masterful puppetry and cast colliding into set pieces too early! 😅 Tonight, our Captain/Old Rose/ The Ocean (@izzy_inyette ) had gotten caught in a riptide and was unable to make it. 😔 So, our maid/stagehand @ivy_profin stepped in and took on the mantel of the captain and old rose with ease and had steered this ship back on course! ⚓️ Thank you Ivy for being an absolute legend tonight! 💙 TOMORROW, We’ve got a treat for you! It’s a 2 SHOW DAY! That’s right, we got a masked matinee happening at 1pm and out closing night show at 7pm! Let’s (ICE)cap this @melbfringe voyage, the best way we know how, with drag, puppets, live vocals and a Hyperfixation that will have our hearts going on for another 84 (or a 100+) years! See you tomorrow sailors! 🚢 Ticket link in bio! #titanic #parody #drag #melbournefringe
