Got to fulfill another childhood dream Saturday night and see one of my all time favorite artists, Ed Sheeran, live at The Loop Tour. Also got to hear a few of my favorite songs that shaped my childhood from Issac Slade (The Fray) and get introduced to another great artist Zach Hood.

When Ed released Subtract roughly 3 years ago, it stayed on repeat. It got me through a really rough time and has been on repeat again lately. At the beginning of the show, there’s a QR code where you can request a song to be played. I debated on a few songs from the Subtract album, but ultimately decided on Life Goes On. I didn’t actually think he’d play it since it’s such a sad song and such a deep cut, but to my surprise he did. I’m not ashamed to say I absolutely sobbed the whole song. That moment meant more to me than I’ll be able to say.

It was an incredible night (despite a drunk woman that got kicked out) that I’m forever grateful for. I’m holding on by a thread right now but it’s nights and moments like these that keep me going. ❤️

misses independent, streaming everywhere at midnight !

Thank you so much for the love so far on this song. 2 million views across Tik Tok and Instagram, and 10,000 followers in a bloody week?! My team and I have worked so hard on this and it’s so validating to see it connect with y’all. All i’ve ever wanted to do was make art and share it with the people I love. Thank you for giving me the courage to do so. This means everything to me.

misses independent, the anthem.
