There are places that remind you how small you are.

Sailing from Svalbard to the edge of the ice pack was one of those experiences.

In a world where we often believe we are in control, the Arctic quietly reminds us that we are simply guests. Guests in the home of polar bears, wildlife, and landscapes that have existed long before us and will hopefully continue to exist long after us.

What made this journey even more meaningful was knowing that exploration wasn’t just about seeing extraordinary places, but also about contributing to a better understanding of them. Having researchers on board, reaching some of the most remote locations on Earth, was a powerful reminder that curiosity, science, and responsible exploration can move forward together.

My deepest thanks to @micca.ferrero founder of @iconyachts for bringing this extraordinary vision to life. To @henrycookson_ and the entire @cooksonadventures team for an impeccable expedition. To @seakeepers for making scientific research such an integral part of the journey. To @seaseofficial for keeping us warm and agile in any condition. And to the entire @hyle.consulting for making this unforgettable experience possible.

Some journeys give you memories.
Others change your perspective.

This was one of them.

At the Edge of the World.

Some journeys only become possible because of the people behind them.
This expedition to the Arctic was one of those.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

To @seaseofficial, for designing and providing the technical clothing that protected every member of our team in one of the most demanding environments on Earth.

To @riccardopozzoli and @hyle.consulting, for believing in this adventure from the very beginning.

To @iconyachts and @micca.ferrero, whose vision and commitment continue to redefine what modern exploration can be.

To @cooksonadventures, for creating an extraordinary expedition and allowing us to discover one of the last truly wild places left on our planet.

To The International @seakeepers Society, for reminding us that exploration is also about understanding, protecting and giving back to the oceans.

Last but certainly not least, a heartfelt thank you to all the researchers on board.
Thank you for teaching us so much in such a short time, and for sharing your passion, your knowledge, and your dedication to understanding one of the most fragile environments on Earth. Spending time alongside you has been one of the greatest privileges of this journey.

Thank you for making this journey not only possible, but unforgettable.
