I rarely post #tbt pics, but lately I've been asked by many people what did I look like with my hair. Well, I figure if I'm going to do it, let me go down a brief timeline to show you a glimpse of my journey from a boy to a young man to the man before you now. #Zeus #GodofSky #Lionhearted #Sphinx #fit #fitness #fit #fitnessaddict #habitnotahobby #lifestyle #longterm #longevity #life #fitspo #fitspiration #fitnessmotivation #GetRightorGetLeft #healthyliving #fitnesslife

#tbt I don't really partake in, but my main man, friends, cousin is my thoughts everyday. Tons of arguments but never went long without speaking. I know he's forever watching over me and the rest of my fam. His smile, energy was epic. He also got us into lots of trouble where although our parents would ground us or beat us, yes beat us...that existed then lol, we'd laugh about it afterwards. I hear his voice everyday, he is in my dreams, thoughts and with me in spirit. Those that knew my cuzzo @yeslivelife knew how great he was. I remember this trip like yesterday, it was his first time to CA, my man took a suitcase of just footwear, I lol as I picked him to head to JFK as I asked if he planned on moving there lol. "GODSPLAN" tattooed on my arms because that's what you preached to us.

I try to take it one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once... Today I celebrate the life you lived
and the blessing that you were to me
during your time on Earth.
I remember you.
I feel you.
I know you exist
in my heart and elsewhere.
I sip your favorite drink
and taste the food you loved,
the simple pleasures that are no longer yours,
exchanged for the joy
of being Home,
knowing Truth,
seeing all.
I love you.
Today,
in your honor,
I celebrate Life.

#Tbt about a month ago I posted a before and after pic...doubting my progress...I had since then gained 10lbs that month...(lost 5 of it) and I was beating myself up about it. I family member inboxed me this picture (on the left)to remind me that I have come far and to never give up. I was at my heaviest 264lbs...u would think that I gained the weight from eating poorly and no exercise but it was more than that...I worked in a stressful job, I was in a toxic, abusive, relationship, both my parents fell ill, this was all stress...I smiled but I wasn't happy i wasn't myself. The picture to the right I was 223lbs. I started to feel comfortable in my own skin...I was healing from the scars of work, relationship, family health... I have to give credit to my good friend @mzmomoblessed for starting this journey with me. But more importantly God who gave me the patience and determination to continue...I'm not quite there yet but I'm not far either...I'm officially plus size fit...I can workout longer and with great energy compared to those who have done it for many years...and I'm proud of that goal.

Heavenly Father, You know every decision I need to make and every challenge I face. Please forgive me for the times that I try to figure this life out on my own. I need you. I need Your Holy Spirit to give me strength, wisdom, and direction. Amen #imisshim #bestrongnofearnomatterwhat #GodsPlan
