POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A brief moment on this floating sphere of stardust and scars, with the extraordinary opportunity to leave our fingerprints on it.

You can build an impressive life and still be a stranger to the person living it.

And that’s worth leaning into hero.

Your fingerprints aren’t left by how well you maintained what was. They’re left by what you dared to create, who you chose to love, and the courage to become someone you haven’t been before.

You weren’t put here just to keep everything running. You were given a life. Get your fingerprints on it.

And if there’s distance between the life you’ve built and the life you know you’re capable of living, that’s the work we’re doing in Basecamp.

8 weeks. 8 people. Beginning October 26.

Drop me a 🏔️ & consider yourself invited! #liveyourmission #northoftheground #basecamp #notglife

A few months ago I started journaling again as a way to get clear on my business.

What happened next was pretty remarkable.

I started to hear myself think.

I started to quiet the noise long enough to realize that some of the things that I had been anxious about were stopping me from truly living

So I started to get quiet more often and I started writing more

The more I sat, the more would download… from business ideas and clarity to what I had been allowing in my personal life.

Something else started happening…
people started showing up… people with opportunities, people with support, people who have been where I am and those who sit where I am going and who WANT to show me the way. Who WANT to support me.

Sometimes quietly. Sometimes big and loud and smack me in the face… but they are there.

Opportunities that can’t be explained in any other way than “God Winks” because coincidence is bullshit.

This stuff doesn’t just happen by chance - I fully believe it’s the universe showing up telling me that while it’s hard right now, I just need to stay the course because …

“I gotchu”

May my life & success be so offensive to those that are complacent leading an average life that it forces them to do one of two things….

1. Keep talking shit & hating from a distance
2. Light a fire under their ass & inspire them to get off their ass, step outside their comfort zone & go after everything they ever dreamed of

And if you choose the latter…I’ll be your biggest supporter 🫵🏼

The last few months held:
-a wedding (better than my wildest dreams)
-a layoff
-a funeral
-an unexpected window to just sit with all the massive life changes in the last year😮‍💨

I’ve also put in a whole heckin lot of miles through Alaska, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Oregon, Woodland Park, Breckenridge, Florida, and Idaho, more time outside than inside, training for a marathon, and the beginning of my post-undergraduate studies in Biblical Studies.

Somewhere along the way, I had a revelation:

I’ve never seen a U-Haul following a hearse.

I can’t take the title, the paycheck, the house, the accomplishments or the stuff with me. But I can spend this life loving people really, really well. And this season has looked like learning to love, pour everything I’ve got into the most important relationships in my life, and how to be an inextinguishable light in this very dark world.

I can use what God has placed in my hands to serve the people He puts in front of me. Even if that’s just my wild love for playing outside with my buddies.

Life is wasted when we don’t say yes to the big jumps. To climbing the mountain in front of us with others. To taking the trip. To sitting around the table longer. To praying with people. To laughing until we throw up. To staring at the stars until there’s a knot in my neck. To playing outside with the people I love. To making memories in the creation He made for us to enjoy.
Count it all worship and joy for the life I’ve been given to live while I’m here💕

This season has looked a lot less like figuring out exactly what I’m doing with my life and a lot more like learning how I want to live it.

Love God.
Love people.
Serve well.
Use what He gave me.
Go outside.
Be a student forever.
Hold it all loosely.

I have absolutely no idea what this next chapter looks like. But I really, really like the woman walking into it and the community walking with me. 🤍

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” — John 3:30

Discipline, grit + fortitude are skills for the dreamers.

Dreaming lets us visit who we could become and what we could create.

Discipline is how we begin choosing it.

Discipline isn’t punishment.
Grit isn’t endless grind.
Fortitude isn’t how much you can endure.

They’re devotion to what matters.

The ability to keep choosing what you said you wanted when comfort offers you something easier.

Because becoming rarely happens in one enormous leap.

It happens in small decisions, made often enough, that eventually your life starts resembling what you once only imagined.

Operate from the call, not the drift.

Live your mission. #notg #notglife #adventure #liveyourmission #wellnessjourney

If I can leave you ladies with anything, it’s this. 🤍

I’ve LOVED getting to know all of you—your essence, your stories, your hearts.

This retreat has been holistic, fun, and deeply needed.

I’m praying for so much love in your futures. Breakthroughs. Creativity. Bursts of ALIVENESS. More of that Lyssa energy.. you know what I mean hehe 🤭

And if I can leave you with ONE question…

What does your dad’s hands look like?

BAHAHAHAHAHA 😭

But seriously.

Here’s the real question:

What is aching in your soul, asking to be expressed?

That thing that won’t leave you alone. The thing you’ve buried, second-guessed, been afraid of, or wondered if anyone even needs.

We need it.

We need more of what’s inside of YOU. The world desperately needs it.

So please pleazzze don’t second-guess it. Express it. Create it. Live it.

Much, much, MUCH love & I bless every one of you in Jesus’ name.

Lavi 💖🕊️

I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between what you do and who you are.

Titles change. Roles evolve. Life adds layers.

But underneath all of it, there’s a thread—the things you believe in, the experiences that shaped you, the gifts you’ve been given, and the way you choose to use them to serve others.

For me, food has always been part of it. Health has always been part of it. Teaching, creating, questioning, advocating, and helping people understand their bodies have all become part of it, too. Maybe identity isn’t about choosing one box?

Maybe it’s about finally recognizing the thread that connects all the pieces. And when your identity aligns with your mission, you don’t have to force it.

It just feels like you. 🤍

A little more of mine is waiting in my bio. 👀

Shout-out to the amazing female boss & fellow Virgo, @maximumpotency, for sharing her incredible gift with me. 🫶🏼

Cabo- Part Dos. The real reason we went: a marriage mastermind. Since the beginning of our relationship, we’ve modeled our work ethic, goals and lifestyle around two people we hold deep respect for- @killrobbailey and @danalinnbailey . Together with @the.muscle and @madi___mae, they hosted three days of workshops, workouts, meals, worship and fun.

We heard from live speakers such as @kevinhinesstory and his wife @marghines, who truly helped put struggle and support into perspective. Rob and Dana shared about Dana’s journey in the bodybuilding industry, what barriers she faced and how he supported her through it all. Madi held a powerful meditation that had all the 200+ lb men bawling their eyes out, and Keaton shared an important message about time that impacted us so deeply, we got matching tattoos to commemorate the trip.

Ultimately, we made friends that we know we will have for a long time, if not for life. Being in a group of like-minded people that have the same respect for their marriage, have found success in life and are on a mission to honor God through it all was an experience like no other.

We definitely came home changed. We have new patterns in our marriage, better communication, deeper trust, and we’ll just say, things have been a lot more ‘frisky’ around here… 😉

Side note: they’re booking for this year’s trip right now. I highly recommend you splurge for yourselves and do it. Take an extra few days like we did so you can let the information sink in before heading back to the real world.

If you and your friends are not encouraging and pushing each other to level up in every aspect of life, then it’s time for some new friends

There’s no coincidence that back when I was at my lowest all me and my friends wanted to do was go out drink alcohol, Chase women, talk about how shitty our lives were and how awesome it must be for everybody else

Now when I hang out with my friends we lift weights together, pray together, make money together, dream together, talk about things that matter

We push each other to grow and be better fathers, husbands, mothers, wives, friends

If you and your friends are not speaking growth and positivity into each other than you’re missing one of the greatest gifts of life

And you will go through a lonely season of shedding the dead weight of your old friends and navigating the new path to find your new friends

But I promise you that journey is so worth it

Most people that I know from my old life are still stuck in the same exact spot doing the same exact things year after year after year

And I don’t know about you, but I do not want my life to be the same year relived over and over and over again
