Starting grad school at the end of August has been no joke so I haven’t had a chance to post some of these summer photos, but I wanted to share ‘em because both bands rip. And after taking photos for seven years now, the first in this set is easily a personal top 5 picture I’ve taken.
All the way from Richmond, here are the high flyin’ Invertebrates and the mighty Public Acid, shot on a very warm night at La Santa in Santa Ana, CA ☀️
They’ve got a split with each other coming out, I believe later this year, on Beach Impediment and I got to hear some of those upcoming songs over the summer and ooof 😅
It’s some of the best stuff to drop in 2026.
Looking forward to hearing the full split in its entirety so I’ve got some new tunes to fuel my gym sessions
💪🏽💪🏽
All photos, always, shot on whatever affordable and available 35mm film I can grab 📸🎞️

Invertebrates. The Camel - Richmond. 2026.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how perfect Invertebrates are in general but more specifically at this show at the end of nearly a month on the road. They are everything I want in a hardcore band - raw, fast, catchy, and just pure intensity.

Invertebrates. The Camel - Richmond. 2026.

Back from nearly a month on the road, they returned to absolutely flatten The Camel. Pure intensity, unbridled mayhem, and absolute total power.

Hottest and wildest show I’ve been too in a long time. There a few shows left. Get your mind and body melted.
