OFFICIAL STATEMENT

There is a difference between being given an opportunity and believing that opportunity gives you ownership.

When someone trusts you with a position, a responsibility, or access to something they have built, that trust should never be mistaken for authority to claim it as your own.

You can be invited into the game, but that doesn’t mean you own the game.

In USA Boxing, integrity, honesty, and accountability should always come first. Misrepresenting authority, using another organization’s name or reputation for personal gain, and misleading people to advance a personal agenda have no place in this sport.

A title doesn’t make you an owner. Access doesn’t give you authority. And being trusted to organize something doesn’t give you the right to take control of what someone else built.

You cannot build a legitimate foundation through deception and expect it to stand.

The boxing community deserves transparency, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, when personal ambition becomes more important than integrity, everyone involved suffers, especially the athletes.

The truth doesn’t need to be manufactured, manipulated, or defended through deception. It simply needs time to reveal itself.

Reputations are built through actions, not claims. And eventually, the truth always catches up with the story.

Integrity is everything. Ownership is earned, not assumed. And trust, once broken, is difficult to restore.

Both young fighters were strong contenders at the recent 48th International PAL Boxing Tournament in Oxnard. Neither brought home the championship, but both gained valuable experience competing against talented young boxers from across the country.

Now they’re back, hungry for another opportunity to prove themselves!

Representing 8R Boxing of Santa Maria, Aiden comes from a team that continues to develop young amateur talent through hard work, discipline, and competitive experience.

Across the ring stands Adam, representing MAXS Boxing Gym, bringing 23 bouts of experience and a determination to show just how much he’s learned inside the ropes.
