Music has always played an important role in Karen Lee’s @maxtunekrazydancer808 life. She picked up the ukulele over 25 years ago, starting as a member of her church’s youth praise team. In addition to the ukulele, Karen is skilled at playing the flute and is an avid fan of the Hitbox Music Ensemble and the Honolulu Wind Ensemble.

During her free time, Karen enjoys indulging in Korean barbecue and sushi, as well as playing rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution and Taiko No Tatsujin. Her greatest inspiration for playing music comes from her instructor, Ms. Gina Sunada @tuffyukulele, whose passion and love for music continue to motivate her.

Karen’s advice to anyone interested in learning the ukulele? “You never know unless you try. You won’t regret it!”

Karen, your dedication to music and learning is truly inspiring. Keep up the amazing work and we look forward to being a part of your musical journey!
