You already know what time it is ;) : SOCIAL MEDIA IS FAKE!

2025 was honestly probably the worst year of my entire life EVER. That SUCKED! I have all these cutie memories and Canva edits to make it look pretty but I promise you, these are just the highlights.

Things that happened this year:
-I worked 4 (!) different jobs! Two of which I am still at and am veryyyy happy with. (Shoutout Dutch & CMM ily)
-I went through a brutallll breakup in April. It was unfortunately something that had been a longgg time coming. I still get really sad over it and there is a lot of grief and emotion there, but I can easily say I am so much happier than I was even 6 months ago, when those feelings were still severely fresh. (Honorable mention to everyone who has listened to me, given me advice, helped me grow, and helped me laugh post-breakup :,)
-I read 13 books! See slide 9 for my 5-star reads ⭐️
-I made so many new & amazing friends!
-My little brother left to serve a 2 year mission. I miss him with my whole heart but am so happy to get to chat with him every week. 14 months to go🥳
-I started doing yoga, hiking, & running regularly🧘‍♀️
-I finally regained the ability to hyperfixate on things again like I did when I was at my most independent, yippee yippee!

This year really just felt like a lottt of filler. Things setting me up for bigger and better opportunities & dreams that I’ve had for a long time. But within all of that I have regrown my relationship with myself and the people closest to me. Those relationships are still growing, and I am BEYOND grateful that I get to learn everyday. How lucky are we! 💫🥂

"If you can see the mountains, it is going to rain, and if you cannot see them, it is raining"
It's never too late for a nostalgic post, right?
Here is to all of the strangers from every corner of the Earth who became dear friends, and to adding more timezones to my phone's clock to stay in touch.
To figuring out French administration and solo trips that end up not being solo trips.
To trying new foods and learning all of the "faux amis" while navigating a new language.
To finally leaving my hometown and learning more about myself and the world around me.
To finding a home away from home.

May we share a drink on a terrace and talk about everything and nothing together again soon🥂

Dit pas "adios", mais "a bientôt "
La France me manque mais je reviendrai tôt.

just your gentle reminder that social media is fake! here are a bunch of things that happened in my 2024 :
- I started dating my best friend and have gone through all the many ups and downs of learning how to be in a relationship
- I quit a job that I loved with my whole heart and moved onto something else that I didn’t know would be so much bigger and better!!
- I lost a significant amount of weight due to anxiety and stress
- I began a lot of different and new medications to help improve my mental health
- I cried literally the whole year for happy, angry, sad, exciting, and so many more reasons (see slide 8 to reference bday crying)
- I got to go back to Paris and meet so many amazing friends in person and reunite with my favorite cast!!
- I made new friends and met new people who are so dear to my heart and got to nourish relationships with those I already have
- I got one new tat and one new piercing

Overall I would say that 2024 was honestly one of the hardest years of my life, but you would never be able to tell that through these photos. Social media is fake and I am glad to live a real life apart from it! Here’s to 2025 🥂
