Dear Grizzlies and barstool followers,
This is my last post as the admin of the Grizzlies Barstool. This may be just a silly account to its viewers, but to me, it really symbolizes my time on the team and my hockey career. Starting as a figure skater who didn’t even know that sticks needed tape or how to put gear on correctly, I made this account to contribute to the team in a way that I couldn’t on the ice. As the account grew, I grew as a player thanks to the help of my teammates and our wonderful coaches. As I learned how to use Canva, I learned how to shoot, pass, and stick handle (still working on that last one tho lol). Whether it was beefing with the Maine coach, glazing @amy.laskowski or making hype videos and almost Fridays, I found joy in spreading this team’s joy. Being on the grizzlies helped me grow from a benchwarmer with a lot of heart to a hockey player that is playing in college!! Words cannot describe how much love I have for the Grizzlies, and I hope you enjoyed these last three years of posts.
The future of the barstool is still in the works, but for now, this is Gemma signing off ❤️

And with that my senior year has come to a wrap, i’m so thankful for everyone who was a part of my successful high school career, i truly will miss dgs. Especially my security guards, but the best moment is yet to come and i know it’ll only get better from here. Congrats class of 2025. We did it.
