What a first year with @theferal3024 ! So grateful to have been part of creating this first feral world we’ve now begun to inhabit — The Feral - Epoch 1 by Fabien Giraud is the inaugural learning cycle of a wild collective work: a film made over a thousand years, shot and edited by an artificial intelligence in a forest in Limousin. Currently showing at @mca_australia Sydney as part of the exhibition Data Dreams: Art and AI, this first epoch opens the door to something massive: * An AI in its infancy, fed by artistic worlds for 1000 years. * A collective fiction triggered from an evolving landscape. * 32 generations of humans. The first epoch follows Emme, one character at different ages — part of an 11th-century ergotic community stuck between their world, their beliefs, and our present of 2025. I’m proud to play this figure and to carry on with other wonderful Emmes as part of this concrete fiction. Co-founded by artist Fabien Giraud and curator Anne Stenne, this collective work has just begun. 999 years to go. 🫶🏼 Infinite thanks to the team of superheroes and dreamers #FabienGiraud @annestenne @chatonsky_ @aloe_myopie @the_real_ida.soul @nathalie.viot23 @annalenafilms @cohenflorence @maya_alternative @elena_castiglia_ @juliet.merie @samuelevet @loic___martin @latelier.de.lars @tziganedebraconier @claraormiair @martialou @adrisocialbot @adelaideferiot and so many others 🖤 Stills by the talented @j.saez 🔥
