Six years ago a special someone came into my life ❤️. We enjoyed a brief but wonderful time together near the end of college, then came many long years of grad school and medical school in different states. Through our separate challenges in school and in life we’ve grown closer in so many ways. Carrying us through it all was a shared commitment to overcome the literal and metaphorical miles in between us and our dreams of a future together. That future is finally here, as I leave tomorrow to join her for our new life in Boston. I love you @megansinik and I am so happy to call you my fiancée ! 6 years together, 5 years with thousands of miles apart, 4 trips a year to see each other, 3 video call platforms used to bridge the gap (between Android and iPhone), 2 people in love and willing to go the distance because they knew it would lead to 1 bright, exciting future finally TOGETHER <3

To the sweetest surprise backyard serenader, I love you Joseph and I’m so ready to finally be in the same place, building a life together.

Much love to all the friends and family who not only put everything together with 0 suspicion on my part (especially @ferrerrerre for the photos!!), but have supported us unwaveringly throughout these 6 years.

It’s easy to be sappy when you have people around you who care so much, love so genuinely and commit to a bit so earnestly. I’m so lucky to have done these past four years with the best friends and best future doctors I could have hoped for, the most caring partner, and the support of my family. Tomorrow I drive to Boston but I know I will always have a home wherever these people are <3 <3
