Something strange is happening in this forest…

Some of @ethanhayes7 and @christophermorley_actor ’s crazy performances never made the final cut of @baushortfilm , so I wanted to share them here. Directed by the talented @briannawilliamss !!

I created oval iris cutouts to get the dreamy look of the forest, which meant I was focus pulling at T1.5 to get the full effect! Featuring the stunning camerawork of @sophsmedia and @joel.films.things

Thank you to all of the lovely people involved in this film and I still can’t believe these were some of our first takes!

2025 was a great year, but a challenging one at that.

In the first half of the year, I was focussed on completing my degree.

Now it’s been nearly six months since I graduated. Since then, I’ve been building my freelance business and teaching myself what uni couldn’t.

But last year was also confusing in many ways. In 2026, I want to be laser focused on what I’d like to achieve - while bringing you on my journey 🤝🏻

You can find a more in depth reflection on my YouTube Channel “Keep Making Films” 🔎

Is there anything you would add to this list?

Behind the scenes of BANISH THE FEAR (dir. Lauren Clifford-Keane) | Kodak 500T 16mm 🕸

A thirty-second spec commercial for the sexual wellbeing charity Brook, shot on the Arriflex SR2.

This project was SO EXCITING, as my first time shooting 16mm film. Everyone was calm and focused on set, but the final commercial could not be any further from that- the @uwe_film lecturers themselves described it as ‘batshit crazy’.

BANISH THE FEAR is being entered into the Kodak Nahemi (National Student Commercial Awards) competition!! I can’t wait to share more nearer the time.

Thank you so much to the ever talented @frankie_film for the BTS stills, and to my amazing camera & lighting team on the day.
