You can't tell but I nearly broke down in tears just before the word 'miracle'. And I was struggling to find a better word than 'outshine', but actually that is perfect. Explosions produce fire with no true warmth and music brings the real light. The kind that outshines oppression.

Huge thanks again to the 94 violinists who made our original video - you were all with me in that basement, especially Valentyn Yembrk who died defending Ukraine.

I will be posting many photos from my trip which could not have happened without an incredible team in Ukraine, with special thanks to Gala, Marina and Anastasia of the NGO 'Creative Sensor' @vymiriuvach and the Zhytomyr City Council and @elenaharpsichord for her beautiful piano playing and translation!

Earlier this year, I got to conduct my very first major film scoring session, leading the recording of an entire movie soundtrack: Running Wild: Return to the River! 🍿🪄

This gorgeous @imax documentary is directed by Myles Connolly and features a beautiful score by @alexheffesofficial 😍 Narrated by Academy Award nominee Liam Neeson, it tells the extraordinary story of wild Pacific salmon and the ecosystems that depend on them.

It’s now playing in select museums and Giant Screen theaters across North America and will open around the world in the coming months! 🎞️🌎

I’m so grateful that my very first film scoring session as a conductor was with such an incredible team and for a movie about nature! 💖🐻

Huge thanks to our outstanding concertmaster @mayamagub and all our phenomenal musicians from @encompassmusic who brought Alex’s music to life - and who graciously put up with my terrible salmon jokes whenever I was trying to buy the control booth a few extra seconds! 🐠

#Watson may have been canceled, but that ain't gonna stop me from listening to the score. The original soundtrack for Seasons 1 & 2 is OUT NOW on digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.)! Huge shout-out and thank you to Paul Leonard-Morgan (@paulleonardmorgan), his music team, and his musicians for doing an amazing job on this series! It's been a month, and I already miss the show. I'm still a little salty because CBS pulled the plug too soon, but I know that as with any series, the cast and crew are moving on to bigger and better things, and they'll always have my support.

Here are my Top 5 tracks:
1. Watson End Credits
2. Max Can't Breathe
3. Ingrid Kills Beck
4. Just Here to Help
5. Skip Introductions

This really was a great show, and the music was just one of many things that I loved about it. Thankfully, I'll get to enjoy the memories and the music, and so will you because all episodes of Watson are streaming on CBS and Paramount+. Happy watching and happy listening! ❤️🔍

My soundtrack album to @watsoncbs is released today on @lakeshorerecords .

The thing I love the most about composing series is the way music and themes evolve over the seasons. It helps when you have such brilliant creative partners. Huge props to creator Craig Sweeny for making 2 seasons of glorious tv. @tengstagram for being such a bouncing board for ideas. And to @geoffreyhemwall , Erin and Nick for keeping everything running so smoothly. @spenbass for the chopping, @miamichick32 & @penny_bo_benny for the mixing. And all the writers, edit teams and everyone else I’ve missed. (Ok, and actors…!) It takes a village!

To my brilliant music team, and to @mayamagub @mystabyers @callmesuuvi & all the other musicians that played throughout these seasons. @jason_larocca for all the good mixes. Me for all the bad.

It’s been a blast. 🎶🎬🕵️‍♂️

Go find the soundtrack on the usual platforms…

My soundtrack to Chaos, Errol Morris’ film on the Manson Murders, has been nominated for the @ascap awards.

Which gives me the perfect excuse to do a photo dump! Orchestra, rock band, electronica, string quartet, mellotron and pump organ. A crazy ride.

If any of my peers felt like voting for me or my brilliant colleagues, voting ends midnight March 6th 🎶🎬

Chaos is now streaming on @netflix and my soundtrack is out now.

Thanks @ascapscreen and all my lovely peers for the nomination ❤️🥰🎶🎥

Chaos: The Manson Murders is a film by Errol Morris for Netflix. Long story short, but I’ve got Dennis Wilson’s (Beach Boys) pump organ in my studio and used it on my soundtrack. Dennis Wilson had got into a fallout with Manson about royalties after they wrote a song together, which is supposedly what started Manson’s decline. And then getting to score his gradual insanity, with throbbing synths, mellotron, full orchestra, and a “rock” band was so fun.

Props to @jmoshk for the mixing. All a bit crazy, this one. Streaming on @netflix now.

Dir. Errol Morris
