While last night didn’t turn out exactly how I had hoped, I am still forever grateful for this amazing experience. Never in a million years did I think I would be standing on the nationals stage representing my entire state, and that alone is a huge accomplishment. Thank you thank you thank you to this incredible organization and especially @namteamwilliams for uplifting so many young girls to become the best versions of themselves. We are all today’s girls. 🩷

Red Carpet Awards!! After walking the runway totally barefoot (hey it’s part of the costume😆) and recompeting in talent, I’m so grateful to have received awards for…

1st RU in NAM Talent
2nd RU in NAM Actress
Along with my Top 15 spot in Spokesmodel!

This was a huge testament of growth for me since last year, because not only was I a CASTR girl (whaaat), I received awards in my favorite optionals that I was disappointed I didn’t place in last year! It’s so important to never give up on your goals.

And with that, all required competitions are complete! I felt amazing after my interview and personal intro today, and no matter what happens, I know I gave it my all which is what truly matters. I can’t believe how fast this week flew by! Still soaking it all in and enjoying these last few days. So excited to see what this weekend brings ❤️

Hi Barbie! Last nights doll ball was a blast! I danced the night away with my sister queens while donating for a great cause.

Day 10: How do I give back to my community? Through advocacy for global issues. Last weekend, my school hosted the nation’s largest high school Model UN conference. As part of the leadership team, I organized a philanthropy project supporting pediatric cancer research to promote there, inspired one of my favorite teachers whose family was deeply affected by this disease. Partnering with her organization, we raised over $2,000 throughout the conference with fun incentives like flower grams and pieing committee chairs, all in just one day. Any amount of kindness, empathy, and giving back can create such a huge change in the world.

DAY 5… Post a sneak peak of your formal wear gown! Well, that won’t be needed because it’s actually a dress that we all know and love… my gorgeous Ashley Rene’s gown from state! I loved it so incredibly much and wanted to wear it one more time, so I thought why not bring it to the nationals stage!

A huge Sponsor Shoutout to @ashleyrenes for being such an incredible NAM sponsor and having the most perfect pageant pieces! Make sure to check out the Ashley Rene’s trunk show this Thanksgiving at Nationals!

Today’s #throwbackthursday is day 7 of the NAM social media challenge: post your first ever pageant photo!

It’s hard to believe that my first pageant was just over 2 years ago, and with NAM! In 2023, I placed 3rd runner up to the NAM Illinois Jr. Teen title, and I knew from then on that my journey wasn’t over. Since then, I’ve gained so much in confidence, passion, and dedication for pageantry. I hope that my journey shows others that it is NEVER too late to chase your dreams!

My heart is yours, Illinois! 🥹❤️

My name is Maya Singh, and I am beyond honored to be your new National American Miss Illinois Teen 2025! Being crowned was truly one of the best moments of my life—a culmination of years of memories, friendships, and hard work with this magical organization. Before I share more about me, I want to thank some incredible people who helped make this dream a reality…

To my dad (who I was pointing at in the last photo!), thank you for being the ultimate pageant dad and my greatest role model. From refining my personal intro to coaching me through interviews, you’ve shaped me in more ways than I can count.

To my amazing family and friends cheering from home, thank you for always picking up my calls for last-minute pep talks and hyping me up at every step.

To @christinacosmeticsmua , thank you for bringing the good vibes and flawless glam that made me feel so confident all weekend!

And of course, to my NAMily and @namteamwilliams , thank you for welcoming me with such kindness and making this community feel like home.

I cannot wait to see what this next year holds! Be sure to follow along here and on @mayasingh.pageant to join me on this journey 🫶💖👑
