POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Authoritarian power. Surveillance. Persecution. Objects and memories systematically erased.

The Memory Police carries the familiar elements of dystopia, yet Yoko Ogawa turns the story inward, exploring what happens when people lose their memories and, with them, a part of themselves.

As you read, hold on to one question: How much of our past do we actually remember?

Our first online meet-up takes place on Wednesday, 30 September at 8:00 PM Dubai time. Register through the link in bio.

The best conversations rarely stay on the page.

At Unbound, every book is simply the beginning. What follows is a room full of curious minds, honest stories, unexpected perspectives, and the kind of conversations that stay with you long after the evening ends.

If you’ve been looking for a space where ideas are explored with openness and genuine connection, we’d love to have you at the table.
