🦺 TONIGHTS THE NIGHT 🦺

EFTPOS AND CASH ON DOOR 💸

-After two years of being behind the decks for fun, TAMAR has unintentionally become a DJ that everyone seems to know about. Alongside fellow Garage Sale Alumni, she has opened for big names such as Bakey, Breaka, Neffa T & Main Phase. Well versed in the music world of UK Garage and Jungle, TAMAR curates sets that are reminiscent of her love for 90’s UK rave & club culture and loaded with wobbly bass lines, silky breaks and intricately layered drums to keep the crowd moving.

-2duppy, consisting of @nifeflip (Pōneke) and @maybeimtyler (Ōtautahi/Pōneke) have been forming their sound by combining genres together such as jungle, old school drum and bass, dubstep, and electro, with new age underground rap production. Their name pays homage to Jamaican slang, where ‘duppy’ refers to a ghost which is fitting to their style of resurrecting music from the past and infusing it with a modern twist.

-Joshi is a Producer/DJ hailing from the music scene of Otautahi. His debut trio Only Clangs has played sets all over Aotearoa before branching off on his solo project “Joshi”. He has a sweet tooth for all underground bass driven genres, but his solo alias mainly consists of Bassline, Garage & Jungle. Josh co owns a successful Aotearoa based music label called Redline Records. Redline releases music from Aotearoa and beyond and are mainly known for their heavy influences in the NZ Garage scene.

-Clova is a music producer and multi-instrumentalist making string-focused garage, jungle and breaks. They haven’t had much experience djing, but their dad used to play todd edwards records to them from inside their mum’s stomach so she technically has 19 years experience 🤷‍♀️

-The 3 dons Liam Ed and oliver started DJing in chch but have mixing up a storm as a collective in the wellington scene. These boys do it all, but tend to Specialise in the speed garage department. Come watch dons in the flesh to witness a young buck masterclass
