We are forced to contend with a great deal of violence, grief, tragedy, and serious attacks on freedom, safety, and human rights. AND, there is light. AND there is joy. There is family, and art, love, and play. There is a great deal to be thankful for and so many reasons to fight for the good things in our world. I’ve struggled to share much on these platforms from my own life for over a year now simply because of my own heartache and fatigue and in response to the inundation of important news we need to be aware of. At times it feels like, why clog the airwaves w more information? And I also realize there is such power in sharing beauty and joy with one another. - “Through the Pursuit of Understanding Our Connectivity, We Care for Our World” University of Minnesota, Fraser Hall hand-painted and digitally printed transparent ceramic enamel paints on float glass 2025 I am honored and excited to be able to share this work now open at the new chemistry building on the U of M campus in Minneapolis. The earliest parts of this process started in late 2020. Final designs were approved in early 2022. Now late 2025, It is so exciting to see it finally realized and installed on campus! Fraser Hall is open to the public, so anyone can stop by and visit during open building hours. ❤️ There is so much pain in the world and in our local communities right now.
