This week in didactics our residents trialed an augmented reality difficult airway prototype made possible by Hitchcock Foundation grant support. This augmented reality airway trainer is geared towards austere environments to generate an experience that incorporates voice recognition, tactile airway feedback, and educational videos tailored to the learner’s performance. This project was initiated by DH alumni Dr Anant Shukla with assistance of current and former EM faculty members in conjunction with Dartmouth’s DALI lab #dartmouthemresidency #emergencymedicine #austeremedicine #augmentedreality #intubation

Our Asynchronous Learning Sessions spark creativity and take learning beyond the lecture hall! These core didactics sessions empower our interns and junior residents, with faculty guidance, to take on teaching roles. This week, Dr Bohan and Dr Mayfield led an immersive fiber optic scoping session that doubled as an arts and crafts experience! #dartmouthemresidency #asynchronouslearning #emergencymedicine #dartmouthem
