🍴Adventure 758🍴 . 🫐Signature Chocolate Truffles Eid Box by @mayhembakespk ( Rs. 1200 for 12) . Maham from @mayhembakespk blew us away earlier this year with her DIY hot chocolate, cakesickles, cake jars and brownies. At that point we thought, is there something this baker ( certified from Cothm) can't do? . So she impressed us again with her cake truffles that she's made as an alternative gifting option for 'Meethi' Eid. . They came in 4 flavors: chocolate, dark chocolate, Pistachio and Rainbow marble. My favorite was the dark chocolate- perfect for a midnight snack! . Swipe right for the cutest packaging. Box size as well as size of truffles was HUGE compared to bakery options in the same price, and I'd recommend ordering these instead of a boring old cake for those Eid gifts!

Received this in our mail from @mayhembakespk and we ended up loving the dessert that is was! These were Nutella cream puffs. Two delicious, soft, cloudy puffs were bedded with airy and balanced cream and topped with the Nutella. This major satisfied our sugar cravings and is totally a must try. They stayed fresh for two days straight and we were not at all disappointed in trying them out the next day too!

OKAY, okay, pardon me for merely thinking to post about HOT chocolate in this sweltering heat of Karachi, 🥵 but I’ve been booked and busy (read: lazy af) lately, and have been delaying this for so long, assuming winters will last for a while, but alas! Here we are: the A.C. technician is checking the A.Cs around the house, and the heavy blankets are back in the vintage storage trunk that almost everyone has in their home. 😅 . The idea of S’mores Hot Chocolate came to me as soon as I saw hot chocolates appearing on my feed last year. Thick hot cocoa that has an incredible mouthfeel, paired with toasted marshmallows (apologies for using a lighter which resulted in charred, rather then toasted, marshmallows; I too wish I had a blowtorch 😢), and crushed graham crackers. This hot chocolate kit from Mayhem Bakes was the push I needed to record it. ✊☺️ . The hot chocolate was rich and dense, and I loved that there wasn’t any cornstarch in sight, lol 😝 Just good quality semi-sweet chocolate, cocoa powder, and sugar. The sweetness was moderate, but if you want it a bit less sweet, I believe Mayhem Bakes can customize the kit for you. I like my hot chocolate to be drinkable, so that’s the consistency I went for. If you want to use a spoon to drink it as you would do with a soup, you may cook it for longer. 😶 . The season for hot chocolates has gone, but one can always look forward to, and hope to see, next winters, In Sha Allah. 🥰❄️
