Late post 😂 What an amazing opportunity to go down to Orlando and be part of the women’s USA team! 🇺🇸 This year we did great as one of the youngest teams there! We played so many amazing teams and came away with the Team of the Year! Thank you so much to @maylee.phelps and @sabinaczauz for being great teammates! Y’all did amazing! 🤩 Thank you to John Devorss for also being an awesome coach! The biggest thanks to @renabeanaa for being such a great team manager!!! We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️ It was so much fun being able to have Buster the pup be able to come and support the team in the cutest ways! What an amazing week at the US Open! 🇺🇸🎾 So grateful to have had the opportunity to compete on such an incredible stage and come away with semifinalist in singles and 2nd place in Girls’ Doubles! 🥈 This tournament was such a special experience and one I’ll never forget. A huge thank you to @usta and @usopen for hosting us and making the week so amazing! ❤️🤍💙 And thank you @emma_wheelchair_tennis for being such an awesome doubles partner! I loved competing alongside you! 💪🎾 So thankful for everyone who continues to support me on this journey. 💙 Thank you @babolatusa for gearing me up from head to toe! I’m so glad I get to represent such a great brand!!! Another thanks to @per4max for supporting me with such great chairs! A huge shoutout to my aunt @emlindquist for coming to this tournament with me. You’re so supportive and an amazing person to hang with! 今年は、車いすテニスが誕生して50年という節目の年です。 この50年間の発展に大きく貢献した14人の選手と関係者が「World Tennis Wheelchair Hall of Champions」として殿堂入りすることになり、光栄なことに、私もその一人に選んでいただきました。 私が22歳の頃、車いすテニスにも少しずつグランドスラムの舞台が整備され始め、そこから16年間、その舞台で戦うことができました。それも、車いすテニスの創始者であるBrad Parks氏をはじめ、これまで競技を築き上げてきた偉大な先人の方々の歩みがあったからこそだと思っています。 当時は、グランドスラムの舞台もなく、この競技に取り組むことが必ずしも個人の利益につながる時代ではなかったはずです。それでも、車いすテニスの未来を信じ、一生懸命に競技の礎を築いてくださった方々がいました。 今回、このような節目の年に殿堂入りという形で、その先人の方々への感謝と敬意を改めて伝える機会をいただけたことを、とても有り難く感じています。 この50年間、車いすテニスを支えてくださったすべての方々に、心から感謝しています。 This year marks the 50th anniversary of wheelchair tennis. To celebrate this milestone, 14 players and individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of wheelchair tennis over the past 50 years will be inducted into the World Tennis Wheelchair Hall of Champions. I am truly honored to be one of them. When I was 22, the Grand Slam stage for wheelchair tennis was gradually beginning to take shape. I was fortunate enough to compete on that stage for 16 years. None of that would have been possible without the path paved by the great pioneers of our sport, including Brad Parks, the founder of wheelchair tennis. Back then, there were no Grand Slam events for wheelchair tennis, and I imagine that working to develop the sport did not necessarily bring them any personal benefit. Yet, they believed in the future of wheelchair tennis and dedicated themselves to building the foundations of the sport. I am deeply grateful to have had this opportunity, especially in this 50th anniversary year, to express my appreciation and respect to those who came before us and made our sport what it is today. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to and supported wheelchair tennis over the past 50 years.

That’s a wrap on my tournaments in College Park, Maryland! 🇺🇸🏆 What a great tournament and an important part of my preparation and building toward the Canada and World Team Cup tournaments. I’m so grateful for the experience, the competition, and everyone who made it such a great event.
