Your Bones Are Always Under Renovation 🦴

Your skeleton may look permanent, but your bones are actually changing all the time.

Bone tissue is continuously being broken down and rebuilt in a process called bone remodeling.

Special cells called osteoclasts remove old or damaged bone, while osteoblasts help build new bone in its place.

So your skeleton isn’t just sitting there doing nothing.

It’s basically under renovation all the time. 😂🦴

September is childhood cancer awareness month and we are worth more than 4 🎗️

It affects way more people than you think it does. It also doesn’t end when treatment ends it lasts a life time.

I was diagnosed with medulloblastoma brain cancer on November 28, 2018 a day that will forever be etched into my brain. The day that my life changed forever.

These are the people who’ve gotten me through the highest of highs and lowest of lows. They’ve helped me through every death and every side effect you can think of.

These friends have pushed me to be the version of me you see today. Even though 3/7 have gone won their battles and are in the arms of Jesus they’ve played a major role into who I am today.

Being surrounded by people who understand what I’m going through has been my saving grace throughout the last 8 years.

Brandi has been one of my biggest cheerleaders always proud of me for everything that I accomplish.

Addison has been there for me since I met her. My best friend and my rock. Idk what I would without her.

We all deserve more than 4% of funding.

Jack is my best friend and will be forever. He is a huge reason for the amount of compassion I hold. He’s a huge reason why I haven’t been completely destroyed even if he’s not on this side of earth I know he’s always cheering for me

Ana has been a savior when I have appointments to distract me from reality. She here’s every rant I have abt quite literally everything.

Children’s cancer connections has been one of the biggest supports that my family and I have had over the years and we couldn’t be more thankful.

My parents have been my rock through it all.

Jordan and Seth have listened to me when I just need someone to understand what it’s like to be losing friend after friend to this terrible disease. They’ve helped make me smile and laugh when I need it the most but they also sit with me through every tear and every unknown

I wouldn’t have gotten through everything if it wasn’t for my family always being there for me. Through every radiation and chemotherapy treatment. To sitting with me while I throw up to cheering me on when I need it the most. My family has been there through every st
